Enrollment of NSS Volunteers

Student who enters spontaneously should be admitted first.
Priority should be given to students belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes (SC/ST) student according to the rules and regulations.
Boys and girls should be given equal access to NSS.
Preference should be given to students who are interested in social work or social activities while selecting students.
Students should be motivated by national spirit and have social commitment.
The students should not be addicted and should be disciplined.
The age of the student should not be more than 25 at the time of admission in NSS.
Minority students should be given preference in admission to NSS.
At the time of admission in NSS. The student should be a college UG or PG regular student.
NCC cadets will not be allowed to join NSS. Similarly NSS volunteers will not participate in NCC or any other youth organization as long as they are in NSS.
