Departmental Profile (English)

One of the oldest departments of the institution is headed by the academicians and administrators like Late. Prof. K. Bhogishayan. It runs UG, PG courses and a certificate course in Spoken English and Personality Development to enrich learning. It has rich library material with textbooks, reference material, Journals and e-material to pursue. The passion of learning English Language and Literature is Language Laboratory commemorating Late. Prof. K. Bhogishayan is part of the infrastructure. The department has parent university recognized research centre where three candidates are pursuing research degree in PhD.The department has a record of meritorious students since its inception. The merit list is studded with the medalists from the department. The alumni gallery is decorated with teacher’s academicians, administrators, judges and journalists.
